While
the 3D solid die design and CAE are important
for precision die engineering, the actual
quality of the products can only be realized
by the optimized machining process.
The well-trained CAD/CAM engineers can support
our sophisticated machining process and the
development efforts are made to improve the
process continuously.
Our previous developments comprise the NC
verification system, the 3D profile cutting
system, and the automatic hole machining software.
The recent study is focused on reducing the
cutting time and at the same time, minimizing
the machining deviation caused by tool deflection.
It includes the application of the NURBS interpolation
and the extended usage of the Z-level cutter
paths. All the cutting data are automatically
verified before release providing error-free
NC data to the shop floor.

Full Numerical Control
We are trying to build a fully automatic cutting
process. Our Efforts comprise the development
of 3D profiling software and the recent implementation
of the pattern and structural machining process.

Collaborative Engineering
The machining process is planned
not only by the NC programmer but also by
people from other areas to produce optimal
cutter paths.
